Australian singer-songwriter Glenn Cardier has produced an incredibly entertaining video packed with cameos. Cardier plays an Uber driver picking up some very unconventional characters including actors Emma Leonard and Michael Caton, Murray Cook of the Wiggles and rock historian Glenn A. Baker.

‘Cool Under Fire’ is the title track from the new Glenn Cardier album.

Glenn Cardier is a folk rock legend in Australia. His career dates back to the early 70s when he performed at the first two Sunbury Festivals. He toured with Frank Zappa, Spike Milligan and Fairport Convention.

Olivia Newton-John recorded Glenn’s song ‘New Born Babe’ on her 1976 album ‘Don’t Stop Believin.’

Brisbane’s Glenn Cardier made his first TV appearance in 1970 on Brian Henderson’s Bandstand. Festival Records then signed him. The moved to Sydney in 1971.

Glenn’s first album ‘Days of Wilderness’ was released in 1972 on released on Infinity through Festival Records. ‘Only When I Laugh’ a year later was produced by Richard Batchens, like the first record.

Olivia took ‘New Born Babe’ from Cardier’s third album ‘Glenn Cardier’ released in 1976 on EMI Records.

Glenn Cardier ‘Cool Under Fire’ is available at Glenn’s website.

Toto’s 2025 setlist focuses on the heritage of the band. The setlist was interesting. Compared to how it was curated for Australia in 2019 this time Toto kept to the albums of the 1900s. Mind you, there were no complaints from the audience for doing that. The biggest hits came from those early years.
