XTC Fans Check Out TC&I

In 2017 Colin Moulding and Terry Chambers of XTC released the EP ‘Great Aspirations’ under the name TC&I. It was the first recording for Moulding since retiring in the 1980s and first for Moulding since XTC broke up in 2006.

Now Moulding and Chambers (aka TC&I) have a live album ‘Naked Flames: Live at Swindon Arts Centre’ on the way. It marked the first time Moulding and Chambers had performed together in 36 years.

‘Naked Flames: Live at Swindon Arts Centre’ revisits rarely (if ever) played XTC songs and a few of the XTC classics including ‘Generals and Majors’, ‘Making Plans for Nigel’ and ‘Life Begins at the Hop’, all written by Moulding.

Sample Wonderland:

“I’d never heard a lot of these tunes in any concert hall and I felt I deserved a chance to put that right….yes a bit of TC&I too, but my songs have been stuck in the closet too long, and I wanted to dry clean them and give them an evening out, or six,” says Colin Moulding.

“I was as excited about these gigs as I was in 1973 playing our first gig at the Arts Centre Swindon as a 17 year Helium Kid, and the first time to be playing with Colin together on stage since San Diego,” says Terry Chambers.

2018 marked the 40th anniversary of the first XTC album ‘White Music’.

Toto Returns To Melbourne #Review

Toto’s 2025 setlist focuses on the heritage of the band. The setlist was interesting. Compared to how it was curated for Australia in 2019 this time Toto kept to the albums of the 1900s. Mind you, there were no complaints from the audience for doing that. The biggest hits came from those early years.
