Yes have added a Perth date to their run of Bluesfest sideshows in April.
The classic rock band will perform at Perth’s Riverside Theatre on Thursday, April 5, presented by Chugg Entertainment and Noise11.com.
Yes features original members Chris Squire and Steve Howe as well as Alan White who has been with Yes since the ‘Tales From Topographic Oceans’ in 1973.
On this tour, Geoff Downes will perform with Yes in Australia for the very first time. Downes was the keyboard player for The Buggles (Video Killed The Radio Star) and was in Asia (Heat of the Moment) with Steve Howe.
Downes was a member of Yes in 1980, performing on the ‘Drama’ album. (‘Tempus Fugit’ from Drama is in the current Yes setlist).
Also performing for the first time ever with Yes in Australia is new lead singer Benoit David. Benoit has been out front of Yes ever since 2008. He is the singer on the new Yes album ‘Fly From Here’.
Tickets for Yes in Perth will go on sale at 9am on Tuesday, February 7.

Yes will also perform at Bluesfest in Byron Bay on April 9.
