Yoko Ono was rushed to hospital today with news reports she was being treated for a stroke but her son Sean Lennon says the only stroke she has had is a “stroke of genius”.
Sean Lennon has confirmed that his mother was being treated for dehydration.
The 83-year widow of John Lennon was feeling unwell on Friday evening (New York time) and an ambulance called to her home in the Dakota Building on Central Park.
Yoko Ono is spending the night in Mount Sinai Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan with her publicist Elliott Mintz stating “she should be home tomorrow (Saturday)”.
Only stroke @yokoono had was a Stroke of Genius! :-) She's really fine. Thanks for all the well wishes! Big Love, Sean
