Yoko Ono has launched the ninth Globe of Goodwill project to benefit the Icelandic charity The Benefit Society of Children With Disabilities in Reykjavik, Iceland.
The project sells hand blown glass ornaments decorated by Ono and Iceland artists.
Yoko made the announcement as the head of the project back on October 11 at the Reykjavik Art Museum. She was in Iceland to commemorate her late husband John Lennon with the switching on of the Imagine Peace Tower.
The Benefit Society of Children With Disabilities was established for people aged from 6 to 25 with mental or physical disabilities. Proceeds go to Camp Reykjadalur, a summer camp for over 200 children established in 1963.
