French electro-pop DJ Yuksek and the hottest Aussie indie acts make up Pyramid Rock’s second announcement.
Hot on the heels of Falls Festival announcing more acts, Pyramid Rock delivers more big names for their Philip Island festival over the New Year’s holiday.
First and foremost, French electro-pop producer and DJ Yuksek returns to the island with a full band this year.
Then there’s a rollcall of the hottest acts from around the nation: a reunited Getaway Plan, indie pop artisans Sparkadia, party pros Yacht Club DJs, renewed rockers The Vasco Era, hip-hop heroes Hermitude, Brissy geek-rockers Ball Park Music, and respected rapper Mantra.
There’s also guitar blues vixen Abbe May, festival faves Bonjah, righteous rock unit King Cannons, disco kids Gold Fields, catchy pop act Loon Lake, West Aussie sensation San Cisco, and Ballarat rabble-rousers Hunting Grounds.
More? Sure! Spiderbait’s Kram and Ash Grunwald team up for ballsy new project Krash, Sydney indie poppers Nantes, rustic folkies Georgia Fair, Melbourne mash-up DJs Naysayer & Gilsun, and last but not least, the Purple Sneakers DJs.
This is added to bigtime acts like Gotye, Scissor Sisters, The Living End, Grandmaster Flash, Boy & Bear, Drapht, Spiderbait, Cloud Control, Dum Dum Girls, Aston Shuffles and heaps more.
Pyramid Rock runs from Thursday December 29 to Sunday January 1. Two- and three-day tickets can be snapped up from their website here.
