Australia’s most unique music and arts festival Mona Foma is no more.

David Bowie’s handwritten lyrics to ‘Jean Genie’ have fetched £46,000 at auction and the new owner is the owner of Mona in Tasmania, David Walsh.

David Walsh has purchased David Bowie’s handwritten lyrics for ‘Starman’ for the MONA Museum in Hobart, Tasmania.

Mona will temporarily close from Wednesday 18 March, for the foreseeable future.
