Madness Have A New Album On The Way

Madness are heading for lucky 13 with their thirteenth album “Theatre Of the Absurd Presents C’Est La Vie”.

The O2 arena in London will host full-capacity gigs from August.

Madness past and present members Chris Foreman, Mike 'Barso' Barson, Lee 'Thommo' Thompson, Graham 'Suggs' McPherson, Daniel 'Woody' Woodgate, Mark 'Bedders' Bedford and Carl 'Chas Smash' Smyth - will have their incredible music career documented in a new three-part series, titled 'Before We Was We: Madness by Madness', which will debut on BT TV on May 1.

Major new titles coming this week from: Paloma Faith, Eros Ramazzotti, Jeff Lynne (live), Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, Iron Maiden (live), Green Day (GH), Sia (Xmas), Mavis Staples, Morrissey, Madness (GH), Black Sabbath (live), Sol3 Mio (Xmas), Nathaniel Rateliff (live), Bob Seger, Jaden Smith, Tove Lo and Sharon Jones.

Madness have just finished touring Australia and Suggs has stayed behind to perform his solo spoken word ‘Suggs My Life Story In Words and Music’.

Mike Barson of Madness says he is amazed his band have become “national treasures” in England because when they started out the press thought they were a joke.

Major new titles coming out this week include: James Arthur, LeAnn Rimes, Kenny Chesney, Brett Elderidge, Tkay Maidza, Empire of the Sun, Tove Lo, Madness and DJ Shadow, plus repacks from Delta Goodrem, John Farnham, Kylie's and Michael Buble's Xmas albums.
