Matt Corby and Middle Kids will perform at the first new Australian outdoor concert, Live At The Gardens, at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne in November.

Mushroom 50 Live was an incredible tribute to the historic legacy of founder Michael Gudinski and at the same time worked as a 'passing of the torch' to the next generation of Mushroom by his son Matt.

Mushroom’s 50th anniversary concert has been expanded with Ed Sheeran, Garbage and Sam Smith now included in pre-recorded segments to add to the event.

The line-up and date for the Mushroom 50th Live concert has been revealed. Sunday, 26 November, 2023, is the day Australian music fans will get to celebrate the iconic Mushroom Group’s successes with the concert set for Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena.

Mushroom Records 50th anniversary has been officially kicked off with The Temper Trap covering The Church classic ‘Under The Milky Way’.

It was no coincidence that the first Melbourne show for Ed Sheeran on his current Australian tour was scheduled for March 2. March 2, 2023 marked the second anniversary of the Mushroom founders passing.

Ed Sheeran paid tribute to his friend, the late Michael Gudinski, with a toast at Michael’s statue outside Rod Laver Arena, with Michael’s song Matt on Monday.
