Paul McCartney Launches Video Reality Series

Paul McCartney was recently asked by fans at his website if he had any New Years resolutions. Well it looks like we are getting a new album for 2025.

Ringo Starr joined Paul McCartney for the last show of the Got Back tour for 2024 in London 19 December and so did Ronnie Wood. Sir Macca also performed his Christmas classic ‘Wonderful Christmastime’ for the first time since 2018.

The Royal Mint in the UK has put Paul McCartney quite literally in the money. For the first time, Sir Paul McCartney has authorised a set of official coins in his name.

Paul McCartney’s 1984 movie ‘Give My Regards To Broad Street’ was universally panned in its day. The production, 100% funded by Paul, became a money pit. It lost him millions, had hideous reviews and now both the movie and soundtrack album have been long out of print. But was it that bad? Actually no. I thought it was much better than The Beatles ‘Magical Mystery Tour’.

Eighty two. Paul McCartney is 82. (Well, I guess it makes a change to referring to the good Sir as an ex-Beatle). Now, where was I? Oh yes, in Santiago, Chile, at the Estadio Monumental, watching this magnificent human perform to and thrill thousands of people. It is always heartwarming to see multi generations singing along to all the songs at a Paul McCartney show. More impressively here, because most people speak only Spanish.

Paul McCartney has performed the 2023 Beatles song ‘Now and Then’ for the first time at the first show of the 2024 ‘Got Back’ dates in South America.

On Tuesday night, 20 August 2024, Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers and producer Andrew Watt performed at The Stephen Talkhouse in the Hamptons.
