Airbourne are as real a rock and roll band as Australia has ever produced. The musical ancestry of the O’Keefe brothers, David Roads and Justin Street goes directly back to early AC/DC, when Acca Dacca were still an Australian pub band.
Airbourne released their first album ‘Runnin’ Wild’ in 2007 and followed that up with ‘No Guts, No Glory’ in 2010. Those two albums gave the Warrambool, Victoria band a footprint into the USA and UK.
‘Black Dog Barking’ is third album for Airbourne and once again it is a collection of Australian pub rock from beginning to end.
Joel and Ryan O’Keefe dropped into Noise11 to tell you the Airbourne Black Dog Barking story.
