Sydney’s Alex the Astronaut’s first album ‘The Theory of Absolutely Nothing’ was released in 2020 and the second ‘How to Grow a Sunflower Underwater’ this year.

Alex studied physics and once wrote a thesis on a thing called Sonoluminescence which is the science of the emission of light from imploding bubbles underwater when excited by sound so we knew we were in for an interesting interview.

Alex the Astronaut will appear on the Making Gravy Christmas show with Paul Kelly, Amyl and the Sniffers and The Beths at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on 9 December, 2022.
