Afie Jurvanen, better known as Bahamas, talks about his sunny soulful acoustic tunes from the chilly climes of Canada and performs one in the studio.
In between touring as guitarist for Feist and other Canadian stars, Jurvanen slipped out a couple of acclaimed albums of tender acoustic tunes under the name Bahamas, picking up Polaris and Juno Award nominations along the way.
Here, Jurvanen talks about his most recent album Barchords, the curious carpeted cover art, getting signed to Jack Johnson’s label, and performs new tune ‘Lost In The Light’.
