When Candlebox launched out of Seattle they were the first signing to Madonna’s Maverick Records. Their debut album sold 5 million copies in the USA.
30 years on, founding member and frontman Kevin Martin has decided to exit the music industry. The new album ‘The Long Goodbye’ is the last ever Candlebox album and the ‘The Goodbye’ tour is their last ever album.
Fun fact: Kevin Martin’s first band was called Wagga Wagga, after the New South Wales regional city.
Another fun fact: Kevin is married to an Australian.
