Chess was the 1984 musical written by Tim Rice with Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus from Abba.

The now classic songs ‘I Know Him So Well’ and ‘One Night In Bangkok’ were written for ‘Chess’.

The musical was first performed in London in 1986 and will return to Australia for a limited 10 show season in Melbourne for The Production Company and artistic director Ken Mackenzie-Forbes.

The new Australian production features Martin Crewes and Bert LaBonte who talk about the show with Paul Cashmere from Noise11.com.
