Dave Stewart has been referred to as The Mad Scientist of Music.

Stewart first crossed our charts in a band called The Tourists and scored a modest hit in 1979 with a cover of ‘I Only Want To Be With You’.

After The Tourists broke up, Dave and Tourists singer Annie Lennox formed Eurythmics, one of the greatest pop bands of all-time.

After Eurythmics, Dave has kept himself busy producing and performing, most recently in supergroup Super Heavy with Mick Jagger, Joss Stone, A.R. Rahman and Damian Marley. He also has his own album ‘The Blackbird Diaries’.

During his current tour with Stevie Nicks in Australia Dave invited Noise11 to rehearsals and performed ‘So Long Ago’ from The Blackbird Diaries for our cameras only. Watch the exclusive performance at the end of the interview.
