Peter O’Doherty and Reg Mombassa originally formed Dog Trumpet as a side project to Mental As Anything in 1991but after officially leaving the Mentals in 2000 it became the full time gig.
Dog Trumpet have released eight albums with the latest ‘Shadowland’ once again giving us social commentary from Reg and human observation from Peter.
Shadowland comes two years after the release of ‘Great South Road’, the album they released just as Covid kicked in. ‘Shadowland’ features observations of that time with the benefit of hindsight.
