Ed Sheeran surprised everyone, including himself, by topping the UK charts with his latest album + (yes, a plus sign).
The unassuming lad with an acoustic guitar and a dextrous tongue wowed the Brits with a clever mix of zippy acoustic guitar and hip-hop wordplay.
