Throughout the 80s Gary Kemp was the craftsman behind the songs of Spandau Ballet. Gary wrote all of the Spandau Ballet hits but his solo works are few and far between.

‘This Destination’ is Gary’s third solo album since 1996.

In recent years he has been touring as part of Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets band as guitarist and vocals. His best mate Guy Pratt, also of Saucerful of Secrets and since 1987 Roger Waters’ replacement in Pink Floyd, is also on ‘This Destination’.

Lyrically the songs talk about Gary’s younger years and about where he is now.
