The Hoodoo Gurus have stepped in for Jimmy Barnes’ By The C headline shows in 2023 while Jimmy recovers from back surgery.
Hoodoo Gurus clocked up the 40th anniversary of their first gig in 1981. ‘Leilani’, the first single, turned 40 in 2022, the first hit ‘My Girl’ will turn 40 in 2023 and the 40th anniversary of the first album ‘Stoneage Romeos’ is in 2024, so there will be plenty to celebrate for Gurus fans over the next few years.
This is a band with a legacy and heritage. Dave Faulkner has more to say with Paul Cashmere at Noise11.com.
Hoodoo Gurus will headline By The C with The Living End, Noiseworks, Baby Animals, The Screaming Jets and Thirsty Merc.
