From the beaches of Maroubra to the main stages comes rising urban pop star Kid Mac.
Many might know Kid Mac as Macario De Souza, director of the controversial doco Bra Boys, but many more are getting to know him for his mix of gritty urban pop and breezy beachy melodies.
As an artist, he’s worked with RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan, Matt McHugh of The Beautiful Girls, and producing duo Twice As Nice, to deliver a string of good-time summer hits.
We get the dirt on his singles, finding his own sound, touring with Mickey Avalon, his forthcoming album, and making film clips in island paradises.
