California’s Leftover Cuties have their roots dating back to the music of Billie Holiday.
Fronted by Israel born Shirli McAllen, the Leftover Cuties grew up listening to Israeli music, 90s grunge and singer songwriters. After moving to Los Angeles and hooking up with multi-instrumentalist Austin Nicholsen her tastes diversified.
After adding Stuart Johnson (drums), Ryan Feves (bass) and Mike Bolger (keys and accordion), Leftover Cuties were born.
Noise11’s Paul Cashmere met the band for his interview at SXSW.
