Leo Sayer ‘1992’

Leo Sayer has revisited his vault to uncover recordings from 1992 that could have been an album had Grunge and Electro Dance not invaded the world at the time.

1992 is an incredible lost treasure that could very well have remained lost had it been released in 1992. The insight in Leo’s lyrics paints an image of a time after Reagan, during HW Bush and a Sayer lost in translation between Pop and Grunge. It was a time when even Bon Jovi felt dated compared to Nirvana.

So what happened to Leo’s song from then? Nothing … until now.

This is an album that could have been heard in 1992. It should be heard in 2024 and sounds more relevant found today than when it been lost back then.

It is my privilege to be joined by the legend Leo Sayer to explain the songs of ‘1992’ to you in 2024.
