British soul singer Michael Kiwanuka is talked about in the same sentence as Bill Withers and Otis Redding.
The 24-year old singer songwriter grew up in North London, the son of Ugandan parents who fled the African nation during the Amin regime.
Michael grew up listening to Withers, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan and Richie Havens.
In 2011 he signed with Polydor Records and released his debut album ‘Home Again’.
