Mickey Avalon is more loveable than his groin-grabbing rap songs might suggest. He chats to us about his  long-awaited return.

In 2006 Avalon broke through with his self-titled album, featuring the brash single ‘Jane Fonda’, the even more brash ‘My Dick’, songs of sex and drug , all along spiced by tales of addiction and rock-bottom prostitution.

After “complications” with his label, Avalon is finally back with a second album Loaded, and a continuation of his sexy, sleazy and somehow sombre glam rap tunes.

He talks label politics, being in it for the money, how quickly he plans to release the third album, the burden of being the life of the party, the YESCA mixtape with Cisco Adler, whether he wants to be a rap mogul,
