For 40 years Mike Campbell was a driving force as founding member of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
With his new band The Dirty Knobs, Mike and the Knobs have delivered their second album ‘External Combustion’.
The Dirty Knobs actually go back decades as a band Mike would activate in-between The Heartbreakers activity. As well as that he has worked on dozens of sessions with Bob Dylan, Joe Cocker, Roy Orbison, Warren Zevon and Mary J. Blige.
He is also the composer of Stevie Nicks ‘Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around’ and Don Henley’s ‘The Boys of Summer’.
Mike talks about Knobs, Heartbreakers and 40 years of being in the room when some of the greatest classic rock was made, with Paul Cashmere at Noise11.com.
