In the 80s Moving Pictures had a relatively short but high impact career.
The band’s debut album ‘Days of Innocence’ in 1982 spent seven weeks at number one on the Australian chart. After the release ‘What About Me’ the band established their legacy with a song that from that day on would be played daily on Australian radio and become one of Australia’s greatest hits of all-time.
The band didn’t last then but is back now. They made their mark in Australia and the USA, recorded a song for ‘Footloose’ and even reprised that same song more recently on an episode of ‘Family Guy’.
It may be a short story but there is a lot of story to tell.
