Phil Rudd is the long-time drummer of the legendary AC/DC, only missing three albums during his 10-year lay-off from 1983-1993.
Rudd is the Melbourne born member of the band and now resides in New Zealand where he gathered his mates Allan Badger and Geoffrey Martin to put together his first solo album ‘Head Job’.
‘Head Job’ is a side-project for Phil who has also just wrapped up work on the new AC/DC album. When he isn’t behind the drums touring the planet and sitting in a studio you might also find him at his Tauranga, New Zealand restaurant Phil’s Place.
Phil Rudd has a lot of story to tell, especially about his early days pre-AC/DC when he was in Buster Brown fronted by Angry Anderson.
