Australian theatre legend Reg Livermore is Alfred P. Doolittle in the new Australian production of My Fair Lady.

Theatre superstar Julie Andrews directs the current production of My Fair Lady now playing at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre.

My Fair Lady dates back to 1956 when Alan Lerner and Frederick Loewe retold the George Bernard Shaw classic ‘Pygmalion’ as a musical.

Reg Livermore’s showpiece is ‘I’m Getting Married In The Morning’.

Reg has starred on stages in Australia for over 50 years. He played Dr Frank’n’Furter in the original Australian production of The Rocky Horror Show and was a cast member in the first Australian productions of Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar.

Reg conceived the one-man show Betty Blockbuster Follies and in 1996 was awarded the Officer of the Order of Australia for his services to entertainment.

Reg Livermore spoke with Noise11’s Paul Cashmere.
