Some years back Richard Clapton decided to pay homage to his influences. It started with Dylan, went to The Byrds and then he went on a journey of discovery via David Crosby to Crosby Still & Nash into Neil Young into Crosby Stills Nash & Young.
Half a century later Richard Clapton is honouring the songs and artists who carved out his style. The album is ‘Music Is Love 1966-1970’. The ‘Music Is Love’ title is from a Crosby song.
Richard Clapton talked to Noise11’s Paul Cashmere.
