Rick Price and Jack Jones both have a long history of hit-making in Australia. Jack, with Southern Sons, generated have a dozen hits from 1990, Rick built a similar catalogue from a year later.

Both Rick and Jack have relocated to the USA and for the first time teamed up in Nashville to collective pay tribute to the songwriters and the songs that influenced them.

‘California Dreaming’ is a two part albums, six songs each from the 60s and the 70s. Artists covered The Mamas and the Papas, Linda Ronstadt, Neil Young, Jackson Browne, Eagles, The Doors, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, The Byrds, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young give an indication to the drinking fountain the two were inspired from.
