Ricki-Lee is as brassy as ever, discussing insane asylums, meeting David Guetta in Ibiza, dubstep elements, and how her new album is all-killer.

It’s been a revelatory year for Ricki-Lee Coulter, re-emerging Phoenix-like from label hell to finally record her long-awaited third album Fear & Freedom and score two platinum singles ‘Raining Diamonds’ and ‘Do It Like That’ in the meantime.

A rightfully excited Ricki-Lee talks about filming a video in an abandoned insane asylum, being surprised by David Guetta in Ibiza, sneaking dubstep into her tunes, how she considers a remix better than her original, preferring to drink rather than dance, and claiming that every song on the album could be a single.
