Robert Ellis is a Nashville singer songwriter. He cites Paul Simon and George Jones as two of his biggest influences.
Robert Ellis recently toured Australia with Justin Townes Earle and will start 2014 with the release of his new record in Australia.
The album was recorded in Nashville and was produced by Jacquire King (Tom Waits, Kings of Leon). It is Ellis’ first time with a producer after working on his first two albums himself. “I want this record to be more about the Paul Simons and the Randy Newmans and the other half of my upbringing, which is very much rooted in pop,” Ellis says.
