Platinum-selling songbird Sarah Blasko explains the process behind her ambitious, orchestral new album I Awake.

Blasko truly stretched herself on her fourth album I Awake, writing in England, recording in Stockholm and enlisting the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra to bring a majesty to her atmospheric, dream-like pop.

She drops in to discuss the album that she said “might kill me”, exploring the influence of golden-era Hollywood soundtracks and Frida Kahlo, her diversion with Seeker Lover Keeper, the deluxe book that will accompany the release, and more.
