Husky blues traveller Steve Smyth tells us about the global gallivanting that brought him back to Australia and his debut album.

From Paris to London to Vietnam to Australia, troubadour Steve Smyth has been shaping and honing his heartfelt rustic blues towards the release of his slyly titled debut Release.

We talk to Steve about the musical benefits of being a carpenter, touring with Howling Bells, finding his voice with a little help from an ex-alcoholic Oregonian blues singer, being the son of missionaries, and the idea of always moving.
