The Badloves had a short history. Two albums then it was over.
There have been a couple of reunions along the way but in those formative years from 1990 to 1997, or really the productive music years of 1993 and 1995 when the two albums ‘Get On Board’ and ‘Holy Roadside’ were released, was when all of the songs you know happened.
The Badloves had radio songs but not really hit songs. Fans bought the albums, not the singles. ‘Get On Board’ reached no 5 in 1993, ‘Holy Roadside’ no 14 in 1995.
Now in 2015 singer Michael Spiby has teamed up with keyboard player Tony Featherstone and occasionally Stephen ‘Irish’ O’Prey for shows into August.
Michael Spiby and Tony Featherstone tell The Badloves story to Paul Cashmere at Noise11.com.
