The Black Crowes will perform for the third time in 2022. The band first toured Australia in 1992 and then not again until 2008.
This tour pays tribute to the first Black Crowes album ‘Shake Your Money Maker’. That album released in 1990 featured their now classics ‘Remedy’ and ‘Jealous Again’.
Since 1990 The Black Crowes have carved their place in rock history. Part of that success can be attributed to producer George Drakoulias who was also starting out at the time. He went on to work with The Jayhawks and Tom Petty as well as Australia’s You Am I.
The Black Crowes also worked with Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page performing a set of almost all Led Zep songs. That is documented in the live album ‘Live At The Greek’.
Rich Robinson tells The Black Crowes story to Paul Cashmere at Noise11.com.
