Luke from Britpop kids The Kooks dishes on dropping Adele’s producer, feuding with Arctic Monkeys, and their “post-fame” album.
The Kooks came fully-formed with their Platinum debut Inside In/Inside Out in 2006 and have been wooing fans of classic British guitar pop ever since.
Their third album, 2011’s Junk Of The Heart, is a slight diversion and singer and guitarist Luke Pritchard tells us about updating their influences, ditching Adele’s producer, settling their feud with Arctic Monkeys, his love/hate relationship with America, bootlegging, and his forthcoming guest spot on a bona fide dance tune.
