After a five-year absence, British alt-pop artist Tom Vek resurfaces with another arch album Leisure Seizure.
Tom Vek released the intriguing We Have Sound album in 2005, toured a little, and then vanished. Now, he returns with his second album Leisure Seizure, again packed with catchy, minimalist and ironic electro-pop tunes.
The very sharp Vek discusses his musical exile, avoiding writing dance music, smoking models, minimalism, his cynical lyricism and deadpan delivery, and heaps more.
