Dragon formed in New Zealand in 1972 and in 1975 relocated to Australia then exploded on the charts.
From ‘This Time’ and ‘Get That Jive’ through ‘April Sun In Cuba’, ‘Still In Love With You’ and ‘Are You Old Enough’, Dragon released what were to become Aussie rock classics.
After the brief departure of singer Marc Hunter, (brother Todd says here they sacked him) the band a second wind of hits like ‘Rain’, ‘Dreams of Ordinary Men’ and ‘Western Girls’.
In 1998, tragedy struck with the death of Marc Hunter from oesophageal cancer bringing the band to a halt.
In 2006, Todd Hunter reconstructed the band with new members Mark Williams (vocals), Bruce Reid (guitar) and Pete Drummond (drums).
