Juanita Stein, of brooding indie rockers Howling Bells, performs three intoxicating tunes from their latest album The Loudest Engine.
Howling Bells have returned with their heady, hazy new opus The Loudest Engine. The London-via-Sydney quartet have created another transfixing suite of dazed, yet melodic, indie rock, with Juanita’s slinky voice curling like mist atop.
Juanita dropped into Noise11 to perform three tracks from the album with a mini-amp and blacker-than-black guitar: ‘Into The Sky’, ‘Charlatan’ and the title track.
