The Darling Downs is the collaboration of Australian indie rock icons Kim Salmon (The Scientists, Beasts of Bourbon) and Ron Peno (Died Pretty).
Peno and Salmon recorded their first album as The Darling Downs in 2005 and this year grouped for a third instalment ‘In The Days When The World Was Wide’.
The title comes from a poem by Henry Lawson, Peno explains in the interview.
