Wil Wagner from rollicking folk-punk crew The Smith Street Band belts out a couple of fresh new tracks from their new album.
The Smith Street Band’s debut was a sensation, popping up on Album Of The Year lists and into fans’ hearts with sheer tenacity. The Melbourne band knew how to cut down to the raw emotion of folk and punk and do it with hooks and honesty.
Now they’re back with a slightly fancier new album Sunshine & Technology and frontman Wil Wagner vigorously tests out a couple of new tunes solo – the title track and ‘Young Drunk’.
